Ways to Give
By giving a gift to the Wayne County Community College District Scholarship Foundation you are giving a student an opportunity to a better life. You are giving the gift of an education.
Contributions to the WCCCD Scholarship Committee are accepted and used to award scholarships to students who would otherwise be unable to afford a Wayne County Community College District education. Your gift, no matter how big or small will allow our students to make a better life for themselves, their families and our communities .
Did You Know?
Your contributions of:
$790.00 will pay for a semester of tuition and fees for a full time student $220.00 will pay for a three credit course
$100.00 will help buy textbooks
$25.00 will help buy school supplies (notebooks, pens, etc.)

Cash - Cash gifts are accepted and will be used to meet the needs of our students

Payroll Deduction - Through the “A Better Life Begins Within” Annual Fund, WCCCD faculty and staff can make payroll deductions to the Scholarship Committee. Download the payroll deduction form and mail it to the WCCCD Scholarship Committee at Wayne County Community College District, 801 W. Fort Street, Detroit, MI 48226
Annual Scholarships – With a gift of $1,000 or more, donors may establish a named scholarship to honor the memory or achievements of a loved one. Donors may designate a set of criteria for the scholarship.
Planned Giving – Donors can leave a legacy at WCCCD by gifting the Committee through trusts, wills, life insurance policies, etc. For more information, contact the Denise Shannon at (313) 496-2528.
