Disbursements of Financial Aid

1. The Pell award amount, as stated on the award notification, is for full-time attendance (12 or more credit hours) per semester. It will remain the same for all full-time enrollments regardless of the number of credit hours. The Pell award will be reduced for three-quarter enrollment (9-11 hours), half-time enrollment (6-8 hours), and for less than half-time enrollment (1-5 hours).

2. Your financial aid will be applied first to your tuition and other charges at the District.

3. If your semester financial aid is more than the semester charges, the District Student Financial Services Department will issue and mail a check for the balance to your official address. If you change your address, it is your responsibility to officially update your address with the District’s Admissions Office.

4. Your financial aid will not be disbursed until attendance is verified.
