Computing and networking resources include, but are not limited to: District-owned host computer systems, servers, networks, peripheral equipment (keyboard, Mouse, terminals and printers), computers, laptops and workstations, software, data, storage devices (such as CD-ROMs, hard/zip drives and floppy disks), telecommunications and all electronic communications controlled, administered, or accessed directly or indirectly by the District or by any users. WCCCD provides users with an account that permits use of the IT resources and facilities within established policies and guidelines. Students are not assigned individual accounts; however, they are given access to IT resources and facilities within established parameters. Any person who accesses District IT resources and facilities through District-owned equipment, such as public access computers at the libraries or computer labs, is considered a user and is only permitted to use them within
