As stewards of taxpayer resources, Wayne County Community College District maintains a very conservative investment policy.  The safeguarding of assets and the security of invested funds are the prime objectives of the District’s investment activities. 

All investment activity conforms with requirements outlined in the Michigan Community College Act , as well as guidelines outlined in Wayne County Community College District’s Investment Policy.  Investments are also made in a manner that will assure the proper cash flow for day to day operations, medium to long term capital improvement and building projects, as well as strategic initiatives that support and facilitate Strategic Priorities that have come from the District’s Strategic Plan.
