The Wayne County Community College District’s (WCCCD) Brown and Juanita C. Ford Gallery and the School of Continuing Education present “Manifestations" A WCCCD Faculty Exhibition. WCCCD’s Downtown Campus is located at 1001 W. Fort St., Detroit, MI 48226. The gallery will exhibit 10 WCCCD’s Faculty art instructors’ works from Thursday, March 11 – Saturday, April 24, 2010 (Sunday hours are not available). Wayne County Community College District Increases Campus Safety Department Authority on All Detroit Campuses (Mar 01, 2010)
In an effort to increase the level of campus safety services provided to the students, faculty and staff of Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD), a special swearing in ceremony will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 9:00 a.m., for Public Act 330 (PA 330) Certification for Police Authority. The ceremony will be held at WCCCD’s District Office Building located at 801 West Fort Street in Detroit. Record Numbers Force WCCCD To End Student Enrollment For Spring Semester Effective Immediately
Classes Are Filled To Capacity And Lack Of Resources Halts Further Growth
For the first time in its more than 40-year history, Wayne County Community College District has been forced to cap student enrollment.
Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) announced today that it has closed 2010 spring semester registration three weeks early, due to record student enrollment numbers. The announcement was made by Chancellor Curtis L. Ivery. Click here for more information.

Second Annual WCCCD Board of Trustees and Chancellor’s Gift of Giving Holiday Dinner (Dec 15, 2009)
The Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) is hosting the Second Annual WCCCD Board of Trustees and Chancellor’s Gift of Giving Holiday Dinner. The event will be held on Thursday, December 17th at 2:00 p.m. at the District’s Downtown campus located at 1001 West Fort Street in Detroit. This dinner is an opportunity for the WCCCD family to give back to the community by inviting them to come and share a holiday meal. “At WCCCD, we believe that no education is complete without learning the value of giving back to the community and making a meaningful contribution to society,” stated WCCCD Chancellor, Dr. Curtis L. The Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) School of Continuing Education and Michigan Institute for Public Safety Education in partnership with the Detroit Department of Health and Wellness Office of Public Health and Emergency Preparedness present an H1N1 Flu Vaccine clinic.
