8. Students Win a FREE iPad! (Aug 24, 2010)

Wayne County Community College District students can win a FREE iPad!   A random drawing will be held once a month, for a limited time, and the lucky WCCCD  students will win a new iPad!  Winners will be notified via e-mail at their official WCCCD student e-mail account.  Winners will have 48 hours, from the time of notification that they are a winner, to respond to the e-mail and claim their prize. Wayne County Community College District’s (WCCCD) School of Continuing Education is delighted to announce its Sixth Annual K-12 Student Art Exhibition. The Opening reception will be held Thursday, May 6, 2010 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at WCCCD’s Downtown Campus, in the Brown and Juanita C. Ford Gallery, located at 1001 Fort Street, Detroit, MI 48226. 18. “MANIFESTATIONS” An Art Exhibition (Mar 11, 2010)

The Wayne County Community College District’s (WCCCD) Brown and Juanita C. Ford Gallery and the School of Continuing Education present “Manifestations" A WCCCD Faculty Exhibition.  WCCCD’s Downtown Campus is located at 1001 W. Fort St., Detroit, MI 48226.   The gallery will exhibit 10 WCCCD’s Faculty art instructors’ works from Thursday, March 11 – Saturday, April 24, 2010 (Sunday hours are not available). The public is welcomed and encouraged to attend the opening reception to meet the artist, ask questions and view their wonderful art pieces.  Click here for more information.

 

 

   
19. Wayne County Community College District Increases Campus Safety Department Authority on All Detroit Campuses (Mar 01, 2010)

In an effort to increase the level of campus safety services provided to the students, faculty and staff of Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD), a special swearing in ceremony will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 9:00 a.m., for Public Act 330 (PA 330) Certification for Police Authority.  The ceremony will be held at WCCCD’s District Office Building located at 801 West Fort Street in Detroit.  The event will be conducted by the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards – Michigan State Police.  Click here to learn more.
