TRIO Program

OBJECTIVES

The purpose of the Student Support Services Program is to retain, graduate, and facilitate transfer of eligible participants enrolled at Wayne County Community College District, as well as to foster an institutional climate that is supportive of the participants' success. 

Goals include:

• Improve the graduation and retention rates of the SSS students
• Foster an institutional climate supportive of the success of SSS students
• Enable SSS students to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue the full range of academic and career options available
