Weather Closure Information

Q. How do we know if WCCCD Curtis L. Ivery District Office or a specific campus location is closed due to weather?

A.  When a decision is made to close the District or delay classes due to severe weather or building problems, the District notifies WDIV- Channel 4, WXYZ- Channel 7, WJBK FOX 2 News and WWJ – News Radio 950.  News stations post closure announcements.

Q.  When will we know that the WCCCD District and/or a specific campus location is closed?

A.  Closures or delays can be announced at any time as conditions change; however every effort is made to announce closures as soon as possible.

 

Q.  Can we automatically be notified in case of an emergency?

A. Yes via mobile phone and email using the WCCCD Emergency Alert System. Click here for more information.
