HOW DOES THE NET PRICE CALCULATOR WORK? The calculator measures the financial strength of your family and uses other facts you provide to estimate the amount of grants, scholarships and other financial aid that is likely to be available to you. Your "net price" is the difference between that amount and the cost of attendance.

4. You must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa You may apply as early as October 1st of the year before you plan to attend college.
