Community Partners

Community partners play a pivotal role in the District achieving its’ mission.  Community partnerships are about increasing the capacity of both groups and the community in which they operate.  We diligently cultivate community partnerships through community education programs connecting Wayne County Community College District to students, business, and organizations.

A successful community partnership should be grounded in:

  • Solid planning
  • Mutual respect
  • Shared values
  • Clear expectation
  • A desire to help the community

For additional information on becoming a community partner, please contact the School of Continuing Education and Workforce Development at 313-496-2704.
