SMART Program

Mission

The SMART Program exists to empower students who have experienced foster care by providing person-centered supportive
services that aim to increase college access, improve graduation rates and to promote overall well-being through their journey
of becoming an independent adult and academic scholar.


The SMART Program is a District-wide initiative of WCCCD that provides 24hr support from a Campus Coach that personally helps students obtain vital resources and navigate through the academic process. SMART is dedicated to confidentiality and will respect the privacy of its participants in the highest regard.
