Welcome to Wayne County Community College District’s (WCCCD) Heinz C. Prechter Educational and Performing Arts Center (EPAC). As an educational institution, WCCCD’s Downriver Campus is proud to be home to EPAC, our 812 seat theatre, which provides a variety of activities to the communities we serve.
Under the leadership of the Wayne County Community College District Board of Trustees and Chancellor, Dr. Curtis L. Ivery, the District has designed and built a world-class multi-purpose educational and performing arts center.

In pursuit of the college’s mission, EPAC provides community focused events, staff and faculty professional development, recognition of student success, along with diverse professional performances of dance, theatre, literature, music and the visual arts, enhancing the quality of life for local families and for the entire community. We invite you to attend a show and discover the interesting, new worlds the Heinz C. Prechter Educational and Performing Arts Center has to offer.
