It’s 12am the night before your final and you’re stuck on a problem. You decide it’s too late to email your professor or call classmates.  As you slip deeper into panic mode, you gulp your caffeinated drink and mumble under your breath, “where is help when I need it?”  Tired of situations like this one? We’ve got the answer to your studying needs!

With smarthinking logo, you can
  • Access a live, personal session with a Smarthinking tutor in Drop-In Tutoring.
  • Schedule a personal session with a tutor of your choice in Scheduled Tutoring – including voice options for mathematics, writing, reading, and Spanish.
  • Submit your writing for any class to our Writing Center.
  • Send a question to a Smarthinking tutor with Offline Questions.

Follow these steps to get started:

  • Access Web-Gate login, https://webgate.wcccd.edu/.
  • Select the Smarthinking link in the Main Menu.
  • Click Access Online Tutoring on the following page for access to your personal Smarthinking account.
  • Review the Smarthinking Student Handbook. It can be accessed from the Academic Resources tab on your Smarthinking homepage. This document will provide information on the use of this service.

Technology Support

The SMARTHINKING Technical Support team is available to assist you. The Online Knowledge Base which is located in the Support section of our site www.smarthinking.com, can answer many questions you may have about using Smarthinking. First check the information in the knowledge base, but if you still need help, you may contact our support team at Customer Service.
