Sports at WCCCD

Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) offers a number of scholarships and awards to help students with their costs. As a Division II college, the NJCAA does permit athletic scholarships and each college determines the amount of scholarship assistance at their respective Colleges.

To meet freshman eligibility requirements, first-time participants must provide Wildcats with the following:

  • Official high school or GED transcript
  • Copy of high school or GED diploma
  • Must be registered full-time with a minimum of 12 credit hours to participate
  • Up-to-date physical within the last 6 months prior to participation
  • 2019 Women’s National Championship 9th Place
  • 2019 Women’s Region XII Championship
  • 2014 Men’s Nationals Championship 5th Place
  • 2014 Men’s MCCAA Championship
  • 2014 Men’s Region XII Championship

Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) is member of the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 12.
