Featured Speaker

Denise Taliaferro Baszile, Ph.D. — Dean, College of Education at Wayne State University.

A nationally recognized curriculum and cultural studies scholar and Detroit native, Dr. Taliaferro Baszile’s work centers on dynamic, inclusive curriculum and educational equity; she has earned multiple discipline awards and previously served 21 years at Miami University (OH).
