LIVONIA, Mich. – June 27, 2024 – Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) and Schoolcraft College are excited to announce a new culinary arts collaboration, offering students a seamless career pathway that includes multiple stackable credentials to support the high-demand culinary industry.
Under this agreement, students can:
- Complete foundational culinary arts courses at WCCCD
- Earn for-credit certificates at WCCCD
- Transfer to Schoolcraft College to build advanced credentials
- Progress to a Bachelor of Science Degree in Culinary and Dietary Operations Management at Schoolcraft
The program also offers accelerated options, combining industry-aligned classroom instruction with hands-on training.

Agreement Implementation
This agreement will take effect in Fall 2024, with an initial cohort of 15 students.
