14th Anniversary of the United Nations International Day of the Girl Child

October 10, 2026 | 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Cultural Enrichment

Every girl deserves a childhood. Every girl deserves the freedom to learn, to grow, to make her own choices and to define her own future. Yet millions of girls around the world continue to face child marriage, limited access to education, violence, discrimination and other b arriers that restrict their rights and opportunities.

This year’s theme calls for urgent action to end child marriage and invest in girls’ rights. By protecting girls from child marriage, supporting their education, amplifying their voices and investing in their opportunities, we can help ensure that every girl has the freedom to shape her own future. Together, we can create a world where girls are safe, educated, empowered and free to reach their full potential.
