WCCCD offers priority registration to allow current students who have accumulated 42 credit hours to register early.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. How do I know if I am eligible for priority registration?
Access your unofficial transcript via My Wildcat Portal. If you have accumulated 18+ credit
hours, you are eligible for priority registration.
2. How are my total hours earned calculated?
They are based on the number of WCCCD credits earned as well as any additional coursework from other colleges you have had transferred that apply to your WCCCD degree/certificate.
3. What prevents students from registering on the wrong day?
My Wildcat Portal will identify those students eligible for priority registration.
4. If I register on my priority date, when can I make schedule changes?
You can register as early as your assigned date. After that date you may make schedule changes until registration for the semester ends. Refer to the registration calendar for the last day to register for a given semester.
5. What are my registration options?
You can register online or visit one of our campus self-service centers.
6. Why is there priority registration?
Priority Registration was implemented to give priority to students who are close to graduation so that they may enroll in the required courses needed to graduate.
