October 22, 2025 | 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

What is affordable housing and what are the issues preventing the availability of more housing?

Presented by WCCCD’s School of Continuing Education

Unlock the keys to homeownership with this engaging three-part community forum series, designed to empower individuals and families with the knowledge, tools, and resources to achieve their dream of owning a home.

Participants will hear from real estate professionals, lenders, housing counselors, and community experts who will cover important topics.

In this workshop we will explore the Wayne County housing market with a specific focus on the Detroit area. Join housing experts, community leaders, policy makers and housing advocates to chart and develop a collective agreement on what affordable housing means and an understanding of strategies that are being used to address the housing crisis.
