Michigan College and University Partnership (MiCUP) Meet and Greet

Students should have completed 24 credit hours by June and have earned a 2.8 gpa or higher.

MICUP PROGRAM GOALS AND OPPORTUNITIES:

• Encourage students to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)
• Spark students’ interests in research
• Significantly increase the transfer from community colleges to four-year institutions
• Gain research experience; some students become published
• Workshops focused on research project completion
• During the program, students participate in a research class at Michigan Tech
• Transferring to Michigan Tech could qualify you for the Transfer Scholarship (MTTS)
• 3.5 and above = $3,000 • 3.0-3.499 = $1,500
• Michigan residents and US citizens/permanent residents are eligible to apply
