Sounds of the Season – A Holiday Gift

“Sounds of the Season – A Holiday Gift,” Featuring the Michigan Philharmonic Returns on December 14 at WCCCD’s Heinz C. Prechter Educational and Performing Arts Center

TAYLOR, Mich. – Nov. 26, 2024 – Wayne County Community College District’s (WCCCD) Heinz C. Prechter Educational and Performing Arts Center will present “Sounds of the Season – A Holiday Gift”, featuring the Michigan Philharmonic, at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 14.

This special holiday concert is open to the public at no cost, but tickets are required. Tickets are available at https://music.brownpapertickets.com or by calling the box office at 734-374-3200.

The Michigan Philharmonic is conducted by Nan Washburn, now in her 25th season as music director. Washburn has received 19 ASCAP Awards for Adventurous Programming and multiple national awards for orchestral conducting.

Seating is general admission and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

About the Heinz C. Prechter Educational and Performing Arts Center

The 78,000-square-foot Heinz C. Prechter Educational and Performing Arts Center features an 812-seat theatre, state-of-the-art technical amenities, rehearsal studios, a visual arts gallery, and up to 12 classrooms or seminar rooms. It is located on WCCCD’s scenic 97-acre Downriver Campus.
