WCCCD Halloween Family Fun

TAYLOR, MICH. – Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) is presenting double the Halloween holiday fun with two separate family-friendly events.  WCCCD’s Trick or Treat will be held Tuesday, October 21 at the Ted Scott Campus Atrium at 5:30 p.m.   The Ted Scott Campus is located at 9555 Haggerty Road in Van Buren Township. The second event, the 13th Annual Halloween Family Fun Day, will be held Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Heinz C. Prechter Educational and Performing Arts Center at the WCCCD Downriver Campus, located at 21000 Northline Road in Taylor.

Trick or Treat at the Ted Scott Campus will feature campus trick-or-treating, a haunted hallway, face painting, crafts, costume fun, and valuable Halloween safety tips. Guests can meet community partners, enjoy live entertainment—including Rufus the Dufus Juggling Show—and take part in balloon animals and creative activities throughout the evening.

Puppeteer troupe MellyPop! At the Downriver Campus will present their family-friendly puppet show and workshops at both events. The fun starts at 1:00 p.m. with Halloween-themed pre-show indoor activities including face painting, costumed characters, art projects, and games.  Post-show activities include an on-stage costume parade following the show and indoor trick-or-treating will end the day.

The event is open to the public at no cost. For more information call the Ted Scott Campus at 734-699-7008 or the EPAC Box Office at the Downriver Campus at 734-374-3200.
