On Display at the Brown and Juanita C. Ford Art Gallery at Downriver Campus
Eight Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) student photographers will exhibit their work in the annual Capstone Exhibition at the Brown and Juanita C. Ford Art Gallery at the WCCCD Downriver Campus, located at 21000 Northline Road in Taylor.
The exhibition titled, “Twenty-One Shots: A 2025 Photography Capstone Experience,” opened with a Thursday, September 11 reception and is on view through November 6, 2025. The exhibit is open to the public at no cost during gallery hours: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The Capstone Exhibition is the culmination of the students’ academic journey in the WCCCD Photography program. It showcases their finest works, showcasing the skills and artistic vision that they developed during their semesters at WCCCD.
The art photography displayed is as diverse and unique as the students who produced them, ranging from portraits and landscapes to abstract and experimental pieces.
The exhibition marks an annual milestone for photography students at WCCCD, offering a unique opportunity for them to engage with community members, art enthusiasts, prospective students, and the vibrant art community at the College.
The exhibit is presented in partnership with the WCCCD’s School of Continuing Education. For more information about the exhibit, visit www.wcccd.edu or email artgallery@wcccd.edu.
