Agreement between GVSU, WCCCD will strengthen region's workforce in key areas

Leaders from Grand Valley State University (GVSU) and Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) signed an agreement June 9 that creates smoother pathways for WCCCD students who want to earn degrees from GVSU.

Elizabeth Youngblood Exhibit

Renowned multimedia artist, designer, and educator Elizabeth Youngblood will open a new exhibit of her collected works at the Wayne County Community College District’s Brown and Juanita C. Ford Art Gallery at the Curtis L. Ivery Downtown Campus. The exhibit will open with a reception on Thursday, June 5 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and be on display through July 5, 2025.

Annual K-12 Student Artarama Exhibit

The Annual K-12 Student Artarama Exhibit at Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) is now on display through May 30 in the Curtis L. Ivery Downtown Campus’ Brown and Juanita C. Ford Art Gallery, located at 1001 West Fort Street in Detroit.
