Student Complaint Process

Students with a complaint about a course, an instructor, or another staff member should first discuss the problem with that instructor or staff member. Suppose the student is still dissatisfied after this discussion. In that case, the student should contact the Student Services Office at the campus of their choice.

Refer to the Student Code of Conduct in the WCCCD Student Handbook for additional information regarding complaint resolution. After following the established complaint protocol, students who remain dissatisfied may file a complaint with the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs at Post-Secondary Complaints Information.

As required by the Department of Education as of October 29, 2010, regulations (34 C.F.R. 668.43), the following information is provided for complaints that are unresolved after addressing them at the College as described above.
